The Sunday field for the feature games will be lined by 15’ x 15’ private cabanas designed for those who want to join the sidelines party and invite their friends – or entertain their business clients in an exclusive setting right on the edge of the No 1 polo field. Cabanas are automatically entered for the USPA Gold Cup Cabana competition judged on the most original and decorative cabana of the tournament with the first prize of a free cabana for 2006. Each cabana comes with 30 tickets for friends or clients and four Cabana Parking Passes allowing you to park behind the cabana. No other vehicles will be allowed fieldside during the Gold Cup Sundays. The Polo Pavilion is a further option for attending the Sunday games without the commitment of a private party. Pavilion ticketholders will have an elegant central fieldside location with food and beverages included. Four Sunday feature games will be the highlighted afternoons for spectators including Sunday September 11, which will see the finals of the warm up tournament for the Aiken Community Polo Trophy. Following that opening weekend of action the next three Sundays will showcase the USPA Gold Cup itself with the finals on October 2. In addition to the Polo Pavilion and private Polo Cabanas the Sunday field will sport a general admission area and a Vendors’ Village. Each of the four Sundays benefits different local charities. On Friday 23rd there will be a Polo Ball ‘Aiken Strikes Gold’ in aid of the SPCA. Charities By buying General Admission tickets as well as for the Polo Pavilion, spectators can be confident that part of the proceeds will be donated to the charity of the day. Tickets are also available for purchase in downtown Aiken at the Aiken Downtown Development Association in The Alley and the Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce on Richland Avenue.
