Dear Friends of San Patricio Polo Club,

We are planning our 2005 season which will include two tournaments in August.  If interest is strong enough, we will also hold several club polo weekends and midweek practice games leading to the tournament weekends.

The USPA Congressional Cup tournament will be held on the weekend of August 13^th and 14^th, and the San Patricio Cup on August 21^st and 22^nd.  On Saturday the 13^th and the 21^st we will also offer a social event with entertainment.  Based on early feedback from participants of our 2004 season, we are expecting a strong player turnout.  We may be playing at both the Roswell field and the Hurd field to relieve pressure on the Sunday field. 

San Patricio has also hired Polo Pro Martin Harrigue who has been working at Costa Careyes Polo Club this winter and brings many years of polo experience with him.  Martin, who assisted with San Patricio Polo last year, will organize practice games and clinics throughout the summer.

Our goal this year is to build on the successes of last year and to offer an affordable, laid back, fun, low to medium goal playing opportunity for all.

If you would like to become a playing member or a social member, please fill out the enclosed membership application and return to us.  If you would like to join us as a spectator, please feel free to do so, or you may email me at fyates@yatesenergy.com and tell me your level of interest.  Tournament play will be limited to 6 teams, so get your teams together and your entry forms in as soon as possible.
