Nov. 19, '02: Interscholastic Report by Russ Sheldon - Five Interscholastic Teams played this past weekend at Empire Polo Club in Indio. The weekend was organized by Janet and Rege Ludwig, Empire and Eldorado Polo Clubs. We would like to thank them all for making it a fun polo weekend for the interscholastic teams. 

Central Polo Club traveled eight hours to participate and play. Thatcher School traveled from the Santa Barbara area. California Polo Club came down from Los Angeles and Poway Polo Club from San Diego. All traveling teams joined the Eldorado home team for good polo and new friendships.
 
The teams all showed marked improvement from last year and the new teams are really making progress.  They will all take home things they learned by participating in this beneficial polo weekend. With the number and quality of teams participating, it should make for a very strong Interscholastic Western Regional Tournament in Feb. '03 at Santa Barbara Polo Club. The teams had so much fun they may try to do another weekend of polo in December.
