March 29th, 04: U.S. Open & The Governors Cup - Bad luck back East as Millarville came in 2nd best again and lost today to Pony Express. They now need to win 2 to get to the final round. We need a rep. so cheer them on. Here in Indio, CA it is the final 3 for the GOV'S Cup. It will be a draw to see who goes to the finals and only 3 of the 24 have a chance.
White Oak led by Laith
CPR led by high scoring ZUZOW
Melody Ranch led by 10 yearold Santi Torres
March 28th, 04: Busch Wack 2 Yes, its the second time this title was used, but it may not be the last as the A&B products are famous for everything from Clydesdales to race cars. One won yesterday in the 4-wheeled monsters and it was a Busch driver and yes they are famous for their beer as well. They control the World beer and Andy Busch the MVP of Sundays Skins match controlled the Duende offense. Fast-etta Express (Mariano Fassetta) controlled the offense and they had 2 young guns helping do it all. Josey Stuart and Mighty Mikee Matz were on the job Sunday and the other team just had 1 young gun Miguel Torres. Miguel was a rocket all day but needed one more launch to seal the deal. Grants Farm won the first Skin on big goals by Josey and Andy Busch and A & B donated the first $4,000 to Barbara Sinatra charity and the second was a draw. Grants Farm (GF) was up, but Duende came back to tie it. The 3rd was for $8,000 and G.F. got the sole goal of the chukker going and it was a big one giving the team GF $12,000 for the day and $12,000 to go. Little did we know there would not be a skin won for 3 chukkers as there were some huge plays to stop each other. Big Mike Hakan stopped a couple big runs and Fati Reynot stopped a flying Fas-etta just feet from goal then the misses started. As we reached the 6th chukker (which was now worth $12,000) it was A.B. making a deliberate 60 to stop a goal and then Martin De Narvaez missing a safety shot. Then a near miss by Mikee and A.B .and a couple of misses on great runs for Martin and Miguel. Then a huge miss as Duende had a 30 yard #2 go wide on a early 6th chukker foul to go up by 1. It was to end in a draw at the end of the 6th. It came down to overtime and it was for $12,000 and the title for 2004. A big back shot from Mikee to A.B. out of the throw in and a picture perfect pass to a flying Pancho with Mikee on his back Josey took out the man and it was Matz taking a $12,000 dollar shot and sinking it right down the middle and it was history. Grants Farm has done a good job of skinning and winning the last 11 skins over 2 years. They only lost one (the first skin) last year to Voyager, but that was to be the last one. It was a huge weekend and wonderful win by Grants Farm. The Ford Trucks also the young guns were so much of the game today it was fun to see. If you missed it, buy the video there were some great horses some awesome plays and it was so G O O D !
See you at the final weekend of the GOVS. Cup
March 28, 04: Combos Make Six - It is a day that the first one does not really count. The cream starts to come to the top and it did today. The surprises were yesterday and today. Its reality. The first on the list is smoking Laith who continues to be the man on a mission as they slid by the Surfer (Diego Cossio/Carnation Farms) and then said good bye to the Silver Fox (Harry Collins/Rancho Valencia) for a feat seldom done this year. Mr. Burger did the cooking Sat. on the saddles, but got cooked by Laith and White Oak today it was G & L setting up strong again by the flying Gallindos 2 as they rolled over Summerland. It must have been an amazing ending as with the clock ticking down to 15 or so it was Carlitos stealing the ball from MR on the nearside, a 4- goal player, and stuffing it through with no mas for time left. Today it was cleaning time as Leather CPR, a major leather cleaner, did just that. They cleaned a G&L clock and stopped a miracle run with the Riceman (Shane) and the Palomino (Jason Crowder) stopping them. Super Patron Darren Zuzow, Mr Leather Doctor, put in 3 huge goals to send them back to dream world. In the bottom of it all it was Melody Ranch butting Klentner on Sat. and letting the big guns go as they put a halt on the pretty lady (Ms. Jessica Bailey) and her teammates. Playa Grande ran into the Singing Cowboys today. In the 8-goal it was Dudley wishing he was on the other side of the fence as son Rege was pouring them down the road with CPR and wife Ronai was sick, so find a secret weapon they did in kid Superstar Santi Torres, the boy wonder, but someone forgot to tell Miss Gypsy Suzanne he was a Wonder. She did not wonder, she squandered the ace in the hole and the Gypsy's took overtime, but it was the way it was. Mr. Bray and The Surfer sent all 4 home alone with an L for the day. I do not know for a fact, but I believe Farview was Falcon Prey today as Mr. Amin was on a major run today and looking for a main field game next Sunday. The Golden Falcons won in O.T.
Should have been there. ELDORADO POLO IS HOT
March 25, 04: Polo Has Country's Support? (((NOT)) We have had tremendous interest in the U.S.A. and Canadian teams from our polo friends? Not in the slightest, does country pride really exist or what? Then there is Mexico who asked for the playoffs and they can not even mount the teams. They may have to forfeit because they cannot provide horses for contest and expect the U.S.A. and Canada to provide and we cannot get horses donated for the teams. Nice to have all this polo support. It is sort of motivating for new people don't you think? I am sure this is why most of the Olympic sports have such a battle every time they try to put something together. Pakistan, a huge country, mounted 4 or 5 teams in their playoffs and Australia mounted 8 teams three years ago, but those are huge countries not like the U.S.A. , Canada or Mexico, where there are probably more horses in one state or province than those country's. If you think I am being sarcastic you are right!
First at our polo leaders for putting the playoffs in Juarez, Mexico and using such intelligence in scheduling time and the changes. Secondly at the Polo Association for their great support and how they like to suck up every dollar possible for what I do not know. The PTF who has to build a war chest to support Bush in Iraq I guess. All of our support at all the polo events they push so they can raise more for the chest. I guess we have to go help someone else. It has to be a foreign country somewhere. Maybe thats how Chile could mount 5 or 6 teams at their playoffs. Life goes on, but will World Cup Polo ever get going? Not if we depend on all of our own polo people.
March 24, 04:Yes, we are in full flight for March Madness. There are 13 teams in the U.S. Open which starts today. We have a rep. from the West Coast in the second game of the Open in the form of Millarville Team. Frederick Mannix hits the field today at noon.
In the Governors Cup there may be just a little less fan fare, but a whole lot harder to win. With 23 teams gearing up as today is the last practice for them all. We will get the teams and draw out today for everyone to see. Stayed tuned for action from West Palm Beach to Indio, CA. Then Sunday is t h e "SKINS " game with Grants Farm taking their title to the field against Mr. Hakans " Duende." Be there.
See Ya.
March 22, 04: Open Time! The 26-Goal started and Midwest star Mike Azzaro (probably the second best player in the World today . . . an American from Chicago and Texas) was the MVP. Azzaro and his horse, a black mare name Godiva, were both champions of the tournament. Now it all starts and the west is represented by some former players and Fish Creeks sister team Millarville of Canada with the Wolves of Canada Frederick Mannix and Daniel Roenisch along with local favorites Mariano Gonzalez and Agustin Zavaleta. They start on Wednesday and the old Junior Polo star Jeff Hall leads Old Pueblo and Sapo Caset plays with Pony Express. Last but not least super star Hector Galindo from Los Potros Jim Gilstraps old Eldorado team leads the charge for San Saba. They have none other than Tommy Lee Jones from Men In Black to charge to the big one. Keep up with the action on the Pololine or the Morning line there already there.
See you.
March 21, 04: Wipe Out Is What It Was! - There were some V.I.P. games today and most were wipeouts. It started early and never quit. It was a very tough game in the 14-goal with Duende doing the Big Mike Hakan dance on Stone Canyon. Mike Hakan was a major part in sending his team to the finals of the Skins. He and teammates were dominant on the Palomino (Jason Crowder) and young Clemente Zavaleta as they were always a step behind or both at the same place. Martin or Fati were gone and the Redhead (Steve Dalton) needed 2 heads and 4 arms as he was looking down a double barrel. They usually win any argument and they did by 2 and it was on to Champion time. In the 4-goal Junior Officers Cup it was the General Lee Pettigrew putting on Pink for the first time and losing for the first time in a finals. It has been a long time since he has lost one and maybe the first time ever out of the big ones. Thats what happens when a general goes that way I guess. KSL was very dominant in the last 2 chukkers and put them away as Mr. Hosea and team stuck it on the Pinky. That is the trophy and also the boys in Pink and Ladies too. Mr. Zigler made some big plays in the final chukker to move it down the line as Lolo got the pass and made it happen on the board. It was, however, the closest big game of the day as the Officers Cup finals was a wipeout. Casa Blanca continues to hold down number 2 wherever they go. The house caught fire again today as they met a brand new force called Mr. Amin and the Cody -Daniel show. As in Woodfin and Fernandez. They crushed the House and then burned it up by 5 for a while in the 5th and finished up by 4 as there were 2. Carlos' and one took the other and took him well and the TEX_NEWMEX Golden Falcons were just that golden. Their crew cooked the Casa buenos and made them stew for a while. They will be back and I am sure they hope the Falcons lose some feathers soon.
All in all it was great polo and absolutely terrible weather. The mercury was near the century mark from 9 to 4 everyday through the last week and there is no good in that other than the bermuda is really growing. They need more water and game times will have to move to 8 AM and 4 PM to protect our 4-legged friends if it does not change and maybe the 2 legged ones as well.
Players of the week . . .
4-goal Chevas Hosea
8-goal Dr. Amin
14-goal Mike Hakan
Crash of the week . . .
2-goal the prettiest lady to hit the turf Jasmine (on the oldest horse)
4-goal Josey Stuart
8-goal The Govenor P.N.
14 goal STONE CANYON
See ya THE SKINS AND THE GOVENORS CUP.
March 15th,04: The Heat Is On: Yes it is hot in Indio and he Polo is even hotter. There were some big surprises in the cups thus far. Golden Falcons just pulverized Piocho in the of the 8-goal and sent Mansour down on Saturday. These two teams had won all the 8-goal tournaments this year, but no mas. Another surprise has been Gehache, who had a weak Feb., is now coming back very strong. The Ambassador (Glen Holden) has shown its true some things just get better with age. He was a major reason that Summerland and the Gov.(Pat Nesbitt) ran into a wall on Sat. and drew a bye to the semis and could draw another bye to the finals on Wed.
In the 14-goal its Antelope gone to Stone Canyon and they fried the Fish on Sunday. Bad Brads boys were up for the task as Zavaletas nephew Clemente, Jr. continues to beat up on the Uncles and is working very well with the Palomino (Jason Crowder) and the Redhead (Steve Dalton). They went to 2 and 0 with Bad Brad doing a good bit of work and making some big plays on their way. It was the day off for Grants Farm as they sat around and enjoyed the heat. It was Miguelito Torres coming out like a Young Gun on a mission and getting Duende in a brand new position as they have not had a good winter, but they had a very good Sunday. They took the wings from the Golden Falcons who were missing their Head Bird Hugo Barabucci with a busted up hand, but Miguel and Mike were fired up and doing lots of work. Fati and Martin took the shots and pretty much eliminated the Falcons In the High-goal. Fish Creek has the same fate. They will play each other and it will be see you next year for sure for one of them. The other has so little chance it probably does not exist.
Its; Stone Canyon 2 & 0
Grants Farm 1 & 0
Duende 1 & 0
Fish Creek 0 & 2
Golden Falcons 0 & 2
Get ready to rumble as there are a few birds on their way and a whole bunch of time left to see the finals.
March 13, 04: Fish Creek Goes Dry - The Fish Creek was not running water or anything else today as the Farmers had a very good harvest. The Farm boys of Grants Farm just plowed the Creek under and harvested the goals as Big Mac (Fred Mannix) is out with a back problem. He sure was glad he was setting in a chair on a very hot day for March. It was also a hot day for Grants Farm as they were away by 6 goals at the end of 2 chukkers. It was a true team effort as Mighty Mikee showed his metal and Josey was not afraid of Mother Julie anymore. He took her to the cleaners goal after goal and when the kids were not scoring it was Fast - etta Express blowing down the field and adding them up. Just for fun Andy Busch blistered them for a few more on his 4 legged rockets. When it was even hotter and no breeze it was Bad Brads Stone Canyon going down town on the Golden Falcons as they added Clemente Zavaleta to their old Antelope Team and got Mr. Schlei for Geoff Palmer and they continued their winning ways. Clemente did a lot better than his Uncles on Fish Creek and they stopped Mr. Amin and crew with some very good play from the Palomino and the Redhead as they got out by 2 for a big win in their first game of March.
In the 8-goal it was Casa Blanca getting by the singing Cowboys of Melody Ranch by a smile and looking to get to the finals this year. They will meet the other winners of the 8-goal as Ms. Susan Figi and her Gypsy's with Bray and CZ again taking out the defending champs of this Officers Cup and stopping Mr. Clarks run for a repeat . The 4-goal had one as Ore Pac came out over Dandy Dans Palm Desert in a morning game. It all starts again on Sat. morn with JR POLO up first at 9 a.m.
Be there we will.
March 8th, '04: March Madness Is Here - In polo & college basketball March is a big month where ever they play these sports. Its the big ones in high school and college. They play all season to make March the month we have been working for and its here. They drew in California. You have the Barbara Sinatra Skins, the Officers Cup, the Governors Cup and newly added John Deere Cup. In Florida you have the CV Whitney now being played, the U.S. OPEN Int. Gold Cup. In Sarasota they have 14-goal, 8-goal and 10- goal championships and in Gulfstream the Officers Cup the 14-goal and 12-goal Championships. It all starts this Friday except the CV Whitney which is closing in on the semis. We do not have good news for Millarville. They have not won yet this year, but they drew well in the U.S. Open so maybe they can get back on track. They had the bad luck to draw 2 of the stronger teams in this tournament and stayed within 3 goals of both, so it could be they are just getting into tournament mode. There is quite a lot of talk of Jr. Macs (Frederick Mannix) incredible ability with a horse and mallet he continues to grow past all amateurs in the World and he just turned 20. I still believe he will be the next Tommy Hitchcock of the World and guess what? He has a sister named Vanessa who is lighting up the jumping world right here in the huge H.I.T.S. Show. She has incredible talent and composure well beyond her years just like JR. Mac. They are Canadians, but Indio has a lot to say about their growing up around Eldorado Polo. Good luck to both of them.
Well in Indio the heats back and hopefully the grass will grow so fast the fields will fly and so will the horses. Its show time and let the madness begin. Wherever it is you are headed to find the warm weather and see polo. If you are in need of some equipment look up POLO PLAYER'S MARKET on e-bay stores.
See ya where the sun is shining on polo.
Silver Tops Do Not Stop - We had the finals of the Geyser Peak Winery, Trione Vineyard today. It was very good. The old Desert Doc was a magician in the first finals as he led the boys in stripes (not prison stripes) very well. They handed the Mac Man B.D. a handy defeat and made Deb upset as Derek Wolstenholm was not in the winners circle. I had the bad luck of being official in the second game and that was a trip to the power land. There was an Ambassador, a South American and a Frenchman to tell me and the other umpire were were wrong and probably were often were, but with the mercury at close to 90 and the ages in the same neighborhood it was best to be quiet as we did. It was very good polo for the first 3 chukkers and who cares for the 4th as they were not happy and undoubtedly the other team was wrong, but in the end it was tied and with this group no one wanted to say this should end in sudden death at 90 degrees and 70% humidity. We just had a draw and that was not the best result as these guys came to play. I even asked one player Mr. Clark to hand me a lost stirrup and he said is it mine and I was not sure if he did not know if he had lost his or he was saying no because it was not his team, but I knew he was a gentleman and figured the first. It is polo and you are on my team or your not! Regardless it was a hell of a game as some super goals were made. The Silver Fox Harry Collins buried a 70 yard neck shot to go up by 1. Glen Holden returned the favor a chukker later blowing through company and sending one downtown to even it up. Sean McCleod and Derrick the Frenchman were the big sticks, but they were only the big hitters not the stars. They were surrounded by a force who does not say sorry just "come on boys lets go. " And go they did. You could tell who has been playing all Winter and you could tell the Snowbirds who have not. You could not tell by the focus on the game because they came to play and they did. Well done Seniors!

March 7, '04: Polo Is Justice - I read today where we are cutting the educational and law enforcement budgets. It makes me wonder in polo if you cut the grain on your horses they slow down, your team loses and you lose your job because the healthier horse goes faster. You hire a bad groom because he is cheaper and guess what your vet bill goes up and your horse performs poorly. So do you really save money? No. You lose money because you lose jobs.
Well our govt. should think like this. When you think they spend millions of dollars putting Martha Stewart in jail because she sold out when she found out something was bad. I know she lied when they asked her, but what about our politicians or Mr. Lay who broke hundreds of families and ruined 1000's of lives some even killed themselves in 2001. Yet he is still just like countless other thieves in corporate America. They can kill, maim and steal ,but where are they? Having dinner at La Quinta Resort or dining in Aspen tonight? Its just like a polo horse. He can kick, bite or step on people, but if he runs faster stops quicker and turns better we will tolerate it. If a foreign kid plays 2-goals over his handicap well its not fair to raise him. Let a local do it and he is a cheater so lets punish him. Thats the American way. We get involved in everyone elses business and get bitched at and screwed over, but we always let our people hang or die for the same thing. We police where we are not wanted. Now that makes a lot of sense. We cut the wages of our police and firefighters, our teachers and yet the oil companies raise their prices and get richer. The insurance companies raise your rates. give you less and will not pay good doctors. Well thats the American way. Why? We let them do it.
Let me know your opinion.
March 6, '04: White Tops - The mountains have snow on them and they are majestic with the white tops. The polo field it also covered with white tops and they are not helmets. The more experienced players take over this weekend and it started out with a bang. The weather was absolutely perfect and the fields flat and green. They got to use Texas Polo Balls. Its show time and that it was. SIR HENRY TRIONE WELCOMES ALL TO THE " TRIONE VINEYARDS 2004 CUP "
It was 3 straight games and a round robin game. They went at it at high noon with the following line-ups:
Gehache - Cabernet vs. Hoback Merlot: It was a good day for the Gray Ghost Dempsey Mork and the Ambassador Glen Holden as they had firepower that was unstoppable. They played their a** off too and came out the winners. Bullet Bob Bradleyand his gunners without pistolas and on the other field it was Ore Pac - Pinot Grigio vs Phoneix - Shiraz and they ran into the Desert Doctor Henry Randazzo who has nothing on his mind but winning and having fun. He really had fun taking Randy Russell's spot and showing the Arizona Cowboys the English side of polo. It was Redwood - Zinfandel vs. Jamaica - Chianti and they got to know the Silver Fox who hardly knows what losing is this year. He was joined by Mr. Clark who also has a lot of wins on his side and they have both been playing 8-goal polo all winter. Jamaica has only seen polo on video's this winter, so the warm weather and the Redwoods were no shade for them and sent them back to the shade tree. It was Debs Derrick cutting loose on his first real test of the year as he and Burger Man without an ear Bud turned on the heat and gave Aspen - Chardonnay and ZK a hiding. They then took out the Kentucky - Chablis as hard charging Dick Merske had to sit out the last 2 chukkers with an ailing back. He and Mr. Turner were up for the battle for a while and another unknown from somewhere East of here, Mr. Yates, not Bill, lit up the country side even driving when flying is advised to cross the wild west if sleep is needed. It was a very nice day and a lot of very nice people who used to play polo and they still do it well.
see ya
March 5, '04: Polo Around The World - Well Millarville could not follow the footsteps of Fish Creek (FC). While FC was winning the league at Eldorado, the Millarville crew was up against White Birch in there first game of the 26 goal and just never caught them, but they will get better as they have no where to go but up. Smokin Joe is winning 26 hours by air away as he conquers them down South in South Africa. They are all waiting for Green Grass in Juarez for the FIP playoffs. It was Domingos Old haunts winning the Caribbean Circuit as they dusted off DQ's old saddles and rode to the championships beating Guatemala, Costa Rica, Jamaica and somebody else in the Bermuda Triangle. So we will see them in M e x i co soon.
Look for gun sales. Soon you will need one. Its an election year so they are cutting the Police budget ,education budget and raising the price of gas. George Bushs buddies need to pony up more of that oil money and the Demos need to get the Opec money and sell more union cards so we will have fun in 04 with my 30 to 6.
See ay at the SILVER TRADITION.
March 5, '04: Is It Old Fashioned No. Its just old and thats the way it is. I do not care who you are you will be there!! Its senior time at Eldorado you know they are V.I.P.'s when they close the Club for a week just for them and polo it will be.
They might be gray or might be a little bigger or slower, but you can bet your buck they did not come to be there. They have the fire in their belly and they are looking for silver if not gold. Many already have silver hair or gold teeth (cost anyway) This tournament was created by the ultimate Gentleman (MR. TRIONE} Henry that is, but he is Sir to us. So each team is named after his products and they are . . .

They will play. They will fight. They will party. They will ride for fouls and call the refs foul names. They will say thank you with a smile have a bud and say. So long until we meet again. Can we do it that way today in polo?
Try it you will turn gray and you will be a nicer guy " someday. " see you where they play polo.
March 4, 04: If It Does Not Go In - Well it has to cross that line between those posts and thats the way it is. Its also called rule 18 which states that the most goals wins and thats what Fish Creek did. They scored the most goals, but they started with 1 and laid the wood to the Antelope in a delayed finals on Wednesday. It was absolutely a perfect day for polo and both teams played well, but it was not a goal shooting day for the Antelope. They missed their 1st four shots and Fish Creek (FC) made their first 2 shots and it just got worse for a while. Antelope had knocked in three times all 3 of them on missed #4's and FC had knocked in 8 times none from penalty line misses. In the second 1/2 it was a little better. FC knocked in 4 times and Antelope 1 time. They could never catch them. The last goal shot could have tied the game, but it was as Tony says "just wide" again and Macho Man (Julio Zavaleta) took no chances. He headed South down the boards and kept control . He played a very good game and young Bignoli proved his worth with great field plays. He just kept coming all day long know matter who it was. Geoff Palmer spent a lot of his day trying to get him and did it well, but there were not quite enough shooters on this team today.
So we head to the skins with fire in our eyes. There have been 3 different winners so far this year in the 14-goal. Will there be 4? Nobody knows yet, but Antelope won 1 and went to 3 finals. Grants Farm won 2 and went to two finals. Fish Creek won this one and they went to two finals. FC and Antelope played twice and scored forty goals each. They won 1 each and FC got one on the handicap, so must be good work for the handicap committee.
Come and see the old rockets play this week. They have the fire and when they are mano vs mano. They are fun to watch and they come from England , Argentina, Jamaica, Mexico, Canada and most everywhere in the USA. I think there is one from France as well.
See ya at the party. Its all for fun and its all on MR. TRIONE.
March 1, 04: You Do Not Have To Be A Giant - They are some of the smaller men in polo, but thats the end of small. They have big hearts, big egos and the biggest of all comes in talent. Try and traits they win and they play polo the old fashion way. They work for it and work they did on Sunday. They were in every play and never stopped running or fighting. In the end Geoff Palmer (GP) won as he made some amazing plays and goals. To see that his team won the trip to the finals, but it was not because Mr. Amin was not trying and it made no matter who it was. He tangled it up with them, but it was the day of the Antelope and not the day of the Falcons. They just could not catch them. It was not over until the end, but the Antelope were on as the Palomino (Jason Crowder) and the Riceman (Shane Rice) did their job. GP and The Redhead (Steve Dalton) did their job and kept the red flag flying. Now they have to jump the creek one more time as they go for it on a delayed day, but it will be Wednesday at 3 p.m on #1.
In other action, and there was lots of it, the Cowboys from Piocho Ranch burned the house of Casa Blanca. It was a local range war with several players coming from the same homestead. TJ Barrack, Ashton Wolf, Miguelito Torres, Pop Miguel Torres and Ronai White all come from a long San Ynez Valley block, but they were not friendly neighbors for a couple of hours. They went at it like a Rancher - Farmer feud, but the cowboys (Piocho Ranch) won this one. They are the Champions of a 12 team, 8-goal league of 2004.
In the 4-goal it was Parklane ruining the New Yorkers (Michael Rothbards) day as they were just a little too much for DQ on this very fine Sunday. IT WAS THE DOCTOR DOING HIS OPERATION WITHOUT the nurse on the other ranch hands from Rancho Valencia. Cassidy West doing their best to lose another one and they did as Playa Grande seemed too much for Tiny Tom.
Polo came to a stand still for a little bit about 10:45 when word spread that the sexy Nurse (Christine Walker- CW) had taken a bad fall on field 3. She seems to be okay as of last word, but it was a long minute and a very scary minute until she said HOWS MY HORSE with blood spewing off that pretty face. We hope she is rocking soon. The nurse is needed. Good luck CW we need you.
Carnation Farms did a job on Farview as a controversial game ended in a shootout and then the fights started round 2 tomorrow. See this page for details. It was a day to watch the Fancy Ladies in the 2-goal. It was Vanessa Joe and her hard-riding tribe of ladies beating Pammy Sue and Vicki as Larsen Cart was not up to the Horse Play today. It was the Old Fellows of Boss Polo winning the round robin as they out lasted CPR and their beautiful leader Jessica Burch. The Gray Ghost (Dempsey Mork) and his oxygen supply just goes to show you they are too old to be impressed with pretty ladies or med care. We take the week off after Wednesdays 14-Goal finals, but we still have the experienced players playing this weekend as the Seniors get into town from dang near everywhere.
See ya there
