"They just got us. They are a very experienced team and
they have some very great horses in their stable," Anaconda's
patron and No. 1 Bob Harman said. "They had a very tough
defense."
Gaston agreed. "Next week, we will need to score more. They
marked us very well, making it difficult for us to move out.
We'll be looking to work more on that to hold them in the finals
if we meet."
League matches resumed late last week at Eldorado Polo Club following
the previous weekend's drenching which canceled match-ups in
the amateur league, four- and six-goal leagues as well as the
12-goal. Lost games to the rain will not be made up, Susan Stovall
said. Instead, a new draw will face off the top four teams in
all leagues which will compete in semifinals Friday and finals
matches on Superbowl Sunday.
