There is a definite link between the Cross name and the history of polo in Canada. The J.B. Cross trophy was donated by the Cross Family after J.B.s death in February 1990, to honor his fifty years of generosity, leadership and fine play at the Calgary Polo Club. The 2003 J.B. Cross Cup was full of excitement and action, most of the games were won by a very narrow margin. In the end Fish Creek prevailed by going undefeated for the entire tournament.
Runners-up of the Match Game: Washington Lettuce:Juan Badiola, Toby Wayman, Donald Cross
presenting, Mike Kerley and George Dill.
