MATCH DESCRIPTION: Tiburon and CMC emerged from the pack of seven teams to play an action packed final match on Friday, May 28, 2004.  CMC started with a one goal handicap.  Tiburon jumped out fast in the first chukker with goals from Craig Fraser, Mason Wroe, and two from Robert Payne.  CMC was only able to add one point to their handicap on a goal from Billy Mudra to make it four to two after one chukker.  CMC’s Scott Lancaster scored first in the second chukker to close within one goal but Tiburon’s Robert Payne converted a penalty to make it five to two at the end of the second chukker.  Tiburon came out with three fast goals in chukker three, one each from Wroe, Payne, and Fraser while CMC’s Mudra scored two from the field and one penalty to keep within striking distance at eight to six.  Showing no mercy, Tiburon struck with three more goals in the fourth chukker two from Fraser and a penalty from Payne.  Mudra tallied the lone goal for CMC making it eleven to seven.  Payne converted his third penalty to go with three for the field to close out for Tiburon.  Mudra added his fifth from the field to go with one penalty and John Waggoner scored just a head of the horn but too little too late as Tiburon ran away with a twelve to nine victory.
