News From Detroit Polo Club . . .

Jerry Hutcheson of the Detroit Polo Club informs us that the DPC is joining with the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) and staging a big time fund raiser to benefit the upcoming expansion & renovation to the UMMA, which is directly in the center of the U of M campus in Ann Arbor.

The museum, which has a truly outstanding collection, began in 1910 and this is its first major renovation. UMMA has embarked on a historic $42 million dollar renovation & expansion that will add 53,000 SF, more than doubling the size of the museum. We invite all U of M graduates & friends to join us in this outstanding milestone event.

A black tie party will be held at the UMMA's beautiful core hall and a VIP luncheon & 12 goal polo match will be held at the Detroit Polo Club's Hartland, MI grounds. One of the grand prizes will be a week long vacation & polo clinic in Florida in 2006.
