In the Western Regional Eldorado 13 Poway 10 - Poway's Gabby Questel suffered a concussion in the 3rd chukker, both teams played 2 on 2 for the balance of the 3rd chukker in a generous display of sportsmanship by Eldorado. The 4th was played 3 on 2 as Poway did not have a replacement player.

Six teams played with Nor Cal showing extremely good team work and ball control. Santa Barbara showed excellent play from last year, but still a player short. Both Tacoma & Thacher have made great strides in a difficult Region.
