Brandywine Youth Polo Clinic features Polo Training Foundation’s Wilbur O’Ferrall
(Toughkenamon, PA) Eighteen area students recently participated in Brandywine Youth Polo Inc.’s first annual Summer Clinic featuring Wilbur O’Ferrall, Field Director with the Polo Training Foundation. The 2-day event provided mounted and classroom instruction for boys and girls ages eleven through seventeen and was held at the Brandywine Polo Club Arena in Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania.

“The clinic’s goal,” explains O’Ferrall, “is to help students understand the concepts, rules and principles of polo. This is accomplished through hands on instruction, demonstration and video training,” Wilbur O’Ferrall is a former National Intercollegiate Champion and USPA certified umpire. “The students had lots of fun improving their technique and learning the rules. The real excitement came when they tested their skills and played matches in the arena.”
Brandywine Youth Polo Inc. is organized to provide free education in the sport of polo to children ages eleven through seventeen and includes training students in the game of polo for Interscholastic and future Intercollegiate competition.
