This memorial tournament is held in honor of Harry East, a former SBPR club manager in the 1930's. Organized in 1954 it pays tribute the 7-goaler East who was known as one of the finest teachers of the sport of polo during his day. He was also involved with the early development of the Santa Barbara Polo Club.

The 6-8 goal tournament brings out many local players – your neighbors, friends and business owners – come out and see them play with passion on one of the loveliest properties in SB County – the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club.  There are also 2 families with teams in this tournament – the Ladin’s and the Walker’s. See the 6-8 Goal Roster for all teams and players.
