Tournament Format
The format for the tournament includes three categories:
- Qualifying 3-Goal Tournament for the Women’s Championship Tournament in Wellington, Florida, April 2006
i. 5 teams are entered
ii. Playing in this category automatically qualifies players for the Women’s Championship
- Invitational HPC 1-goal level Tournament
i. Teams will be drawn for the tournament
- Exhibition Match
i. A two-chukker exhibition match is held on Sunday for lower goal participants

Eligibility and Entry Fees
All players must have a current USPA rating to be eligible to play.
Entry Fees are as follows.
$100 per player will be assessed to Qualifier and Invitational League Players.
- Fees have already been paid for Qualifiers by team.
- Invitational players will pay their own fees individually. If you are an HPC member, your fee will be included on your Club bill. Non-HPC members may pay when they arrive for the event, by check only. Contact Rebecca with questions.
$25 per player will be assessed to Exhibition League Players.
- Exhibition League players can pay Rebecca Killough by cash or check before Nov 13th. Exhibition players, please do not pay HPC directly.
Entry fees for Qualifier and Invitational League Players include entry to all listed events, including ONE ticket per player to the Texas Food and Wine Festival.
Entry fees for Exhibition Players include entry to all listed events, EXCLUDING the Texas Food and Wine Festival.
Additional tickets to the Texas Wine and Food Festival are available for friends and family in advance at a reduced rate of $50 per person. Children 12 and under are free. See Rebecca with any additional ticket orders by NOVEMBER 3RD. After this date, order must be placed directly with the Texas Wine and Food Festival. Tickets after this date will be $75 until the date of the event and $100 at the door.

Directions to Mirkovich Gallery – Friday VIP Party
From HPC: Take a right out of the HPC drive onto Memorial Drive. At 1st light, go left onto the 610 feeder. Remain on the feeder going Southbound to Post Oak Blvd. Mirkovich Gallery is located in the Pavilion building at 1800 Post Oak Boulevard in Suite 182, near the intersection of Westheimer and Post Oak in the Galleria area.
Directions to the Houston Polo Club, Thursday and Sunday games
HPC is located at 8552 Memorial Drive, close to the intersection of 610 and I-10, in southwest Houston. From 610, follow the 610 feeder road heading west, crossing Woodway and Memorial, and enter the driveway labeled ‘Bayou Club, Private Drive’. The HPC entrance is at then end of this drive.
Directions to Old Pueblo Ranch, Sealy, TX, Friday and Saturday games
From HPC: take I-10 west. Exit at Exit 725, Mlcak Road. Turn left on the feeder road and go 0.2 miles to Bartlett Road. Turn right and cross over the railroad tracks. The entrance to Old Pueblo Ranch is 0.6 miles on your right.
Directions to Isla Carroll Ranch, Sealy, TX – ARENA POLO, RAIN LOCATION ONLY OFR QUALIFIER LEAGUE
From HPC: take I-10 west. Exit at Exit 730, Peach Ridge Road (25 miles past Beltway 8). Take an immediate right off of the feeder road onto Wilpitz Road. The entrance to Isla Carroll Farm is 1.4 miles on your left.
Other Information (Continued)
Wes Comeaux will be filming several of the matches. The matches he is able to film will be available for purchase on DVD from Wes for $30 per DVD. Details will be provided at the Thursday kickoff event.
- Scott Corron will be on hand Sunday taking action photos of the players. Fee structure will be discussed at the Thursday kickoff event.
- Gift Bags will be handed out to all players at the Thursday party, including Exhibition players. If you are unable to make this event, ask another player to pick yours up for you.
