Dear Friends of Polo:
It is our privilege at Brandywine Youth Polo to inform the Polo Players and Polo Clubs in the United States and around the World that the Smithsonian Institute would like to create an entirely new Display featuring the History of Sports in America. Plans are for the new History of Sports Display to be featured in 2008. The new History of Sports Display will be a permanent attraction for the Smithsonian.
The Smithsonian’s American History Museum will go under construction later this year and will reopen in the Spring of 2008 featuring ‘Old Glory’ and several new and exciting displays. Currently BYP is conducting a feasibility study with the Smithsonian for the Sports Display.
Creating a new display will take time and funding. If you have interest in sponsorship, suggestions or famous Polo memorabilia to contribute please contact Brandywine Youth Polo.
