May '09, '04: Leather CPR Wins 2 out of 3 in the 6-Goal - PoloBARN would like to congratulate Leather CPR on their recent wins during the Spring Season at the Santa Barbara Polo Club. Leather CPR won the Dean Mullins Trophy on Aprill 11th and came back again to collect the prize for the James Rice Trophy on April 25th. In the USPA Player's Cup they made it to the Consolation Finals and defeated Nicoma 13 to 7.

ISLA CARROLL WINS 2004 U.S. OPEN - Isla Carroll beat White Birch 10 to 6 to win the 2004 U.S. Open Polo Championship, which was also a celebration of the 100th year since the first U.S. Open Championship was played.

Sarasota, FL -- Great World Polo announced here today that it is launching a nationwide campaign to promote amateur and youth polo. The campaign is called Polo Free-Style. Free as in it doesnt cost anything to try your hand at the sport of polo. On Saturday, May 29, 2004, polo clubs throughout North America will be holding a FREE one-day polo clinic for anyone who wants to try polo. The event is designed to get new players hooked on the sport at the beginning of the North American summer polo season. Participating clubs will receive promotional materials such as eye-catching posters, colorful flyers, ad slicks, and a press kit for local media. National media coverage is being arranged by Great World Polo. Teaching materials and educational handouts will be provided to participating clubs at no additional charge. Great World Polo can also provide horses, instructors, equipment, and tack. Any USPA® member club may participate. The cost is only $50 per club.
