February 15, 2004: Chile Wins The FIP World Championship VII, Zone B Playoff Tournament - Las Mercedes Polo Club, located in Rancagua, Chile hosted the six South American teams in the 7th Zone B Playoff Tournament. In a very exciting and well played final game between Argentina and Chile, Chile was victorious with a final score of 13 to 7. Click here to continue reading.
Feb. 18, '04 - On June 19th 2004, The Courage Cup, will be held at Potomac Polo club in Poolesville, Maryland. The Courage Cup committee is looking for sponsors for two of the Charity Teams : Valley Forge Military Academy (www.vfmac.edu)and Work to Ride (www.worktoride.net). Current sponsors include Oasis Winery, The Madison Hotel, The Ritz Carlton, Roney Palace Beach Resort, Exceed Development and others. Anyone interested in attending, sponsoring, or playing should contact Greg Ball at gopolo@couragecup.com or (719) 310-9653. The website is almost complete and may be seen at www.couragecup.com . The cost is only $40 to attend the event and includes a Golden Mallet Pass, Parking, Polo, Food and Drink. Sponsorships may be attained for $500 - $10,000.
